Tiden før Tim er en norsk dramaserie for barn og unge som gikk på NRK1 i 2002. Serien handler om 13 år gamle Tim som blir liggende i koma etter en bussulykke. Regi var ved Anne-Marie Nørholm og manus var ved Petter S. Rosenlund. Serien gikk på lørdagskvelder, like etter Barne-TV. Serien fikk Amandaprisen for beste barne- og ungdomsserie.
