In a 1908 silent short film, a young woman named Nell disguises herself as a boy to work at her father's office. She investigates her other suitor Jim, who is gambling with company money and trying to frame Jack, the man she loves. Her detective work clears Jack's name and lets them marry.

What happens

Miss Sherlock Holmes è un cortometraggio muto del 1908 diretto da Edwin S. Porter. Jack e Jim lavorano nello stesso ufficio e, tutti e due, sono innamorati della stessa ragazza, Nell, la figlia del loro capo. Lei, che è innamorata di Jack, si accorge di alcuni strani traffici dell'altro suo spasimante, Jim.
