Il diavolo zoppo è un film del 1909 diretto da Luigi Maggi. La pellicola ha un tema fantastico e fa gran ricorso ai trucchi cinematografici e con una morale assolutamente non convenzionale per l'epoca. È ispirato al romanzo Le Diable boiteux di Alain-René Lesage del 1707. Nel 1948, in Francia uscì il film Il diavolo zoppo, diretto da Sacha Guitry che riprende il titolo del romanzo di Lesage, ma in effetti è la biografia del principe Talleyrand tratta da un testo teatrale scritto dallo stesso Guitry, (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
