How it feels

A young woman named Xian is raised by her single mother Hui in a photo studio. She follows her lover Cong to the studio and catches the eye of a film company boss Meng, who exploits her dreams of stardom. During wartime Meng abandons a pregnant Xian, and her mother dies from grief. Years later Xian's daughter Zhi faces her own romantic obstacles. In middle age Xian reunites with Cong and they rekindle their love.
