How it feels
In 1930s Shanghai, a poor man named Cheng Yizhi rises in the finance world under a powerful banker. After discovering his mentor was killed by that banker, he leaves to start a rival bank with his mentor's daughter. They face attacks from the banker and the Japanese, eventually allying with the underground resistance.
