How it feels

A clock repairman named Onesime works in a struggling shop. He receives a letter saying he will inherit his uncle's fortune in 20 years. To speed up time, he tampers with the central clock causing everything to move faster, and after 40 days he goes to collect his inheritance.

Onésime horloger est un film muet français réalisé par Jean Durand et sorti en 1912. Réparateur de pendules dans un commerce qui périclite, Onésime reçoit un courrier par lequel il hériterait de son oncle, mais seulement dans 20 ans. Pour activer le temps, il trafique l'horloge centrale et tout se met à vivre en accéléré : danseurs, voitures, constructions, essayages...
