A Whole Person Almost

The 3D catalogue: film cases on wooden shelves, with the cat sitting at the counter next to its greeting.

The catalogue in 3D

The film shelves have a room of their own that you can walk around in. The cat behind the counter is the AI Catbot, and they pick real films from the same catalogue when you tell them what you feel like watching. Nothing is for sale, here or in there. Go in from here and this film is already out on the counter, with more like it waiting on the shelf next to it.

What happens

A Whole Person Almost (Greek: Ένας ολόκληρος άνθρωπος σχεδόν, Enas olokliros anthropos schedon) is a 2026 psychological drama and the feature directorial debut of Greek-German filmmaker Efthimis Kosemund-Sanidis. Co-written by Kosemund-Sanidis and Elizampetta Ilia Georgiadou, the film stars Anastasis Georgoulas as Ilias, a young man in debt who arrives on a remote Greek island to claim the inheritance of his late father, and Flomaria Papadaki as Kalliopi, a local woman with dreams of leaving the island. A five-country co-production between Greece, Bulgaria, Germany, Cyprus and Romania, it was photographed by Christos Voudouris. The film had its world premiere in the Proxima Competition of the 60th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in July 2026, where Kosemund-Sanidis won the Proxima Best Director Award.
