What happens

Our Secrets (Chinese: Tian Tian De Mi Mi) is a 2026 short film written, directed and produced by Lenti Liang, made as her thesis film for the USC School of Cinematic Arts. Set in Guangzhou, China, the film follows a teenage girl, Tian Tian, whose visit to a family doctor turns into an experience of medical abuse, and explores her mother's inability to recognize or address it. The film premiered in the Cinefondation section of the 2026 Cannes Film Festival, where Liang received the 2026 L'Oréal Paris Lights On Women's Worth Award. (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
