The 3D catalogue: film cases on wooden shelves, with the cat sitting at the counter next to its greeting.

The catalogue in 3D

The film shelves have a room of their own that you can walk around in. The cat behind the counter is the AI Catbot, and they pick real films from the same catalogue when you tell them what you feel like watching. Nothing is for sale, here or in there. Go in from here and this film is already out on the counter, with more like it waiting on the shelf next to it.

What happens

Loathe Thy Neighbor is a 2025 Canadian comedy drama film directed by Sergio Navarretta from a screenplay written by Christian Majewski. The film stars Lauren Holly and Brennan Clost. The story focuses on a young man who inherits a farm, and runs into conflict with his neighbor. Filming took place on a farm in Arran-Elderslie, Bruce County in 2023. According to interviews with Clost and Holly, the film was conceived, written, cast, and shot in just seven weeks - a turnaround almost unheard of in the industry, where projects typically undergo months or even years of development before casting or production. Loathe Thy Neighbor had an advance screening on August 25 in Owen Sound, and then received a full release on August 29, 2025. (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
