Wild Arms 3 (titled Wild Arms Advanced 3rd in Japan) boasts major technological improvements and a number of new gameplay elements. Featuring "stroke-shaded" animation-style graphics, a "Wild West" setting, and a completely 3D game engine (not just for battles, as in the previous games).

A devoted-fanbase cult RPG that nails a lonely Wild West wasteland mood through its sand-everywhere world, parchment-style cel-shaded look, and a guitar-and-violin score that sells the frontier tone. Regarded as an underrated PS2 gem with strong characters and a tactical combat system.
