Players are split on this entry: fans appreciate the full voice cast and callbacks to old cases, but many criticize the puzzles as arbitrary pixel-hunting with too many minigames. The story takes a while to start and the villain Heidi is more interesting than the main plot. Compared to earlier games in the series, the puzzles are less logical.
