ఇంకా 1935లోను, 1957లోను, 1971లోను సతీ అనసూయ పేరుతో రెండు సినిమాలు వచ్చాయి. 'సతీ అనసూయ' తెలుగు చలన చిత్రం 1936 న చిత్తజల్లు పుల్లయ్య దర్శకత్వంలో తెరకెక్కిన ఈ చిత్రంలో సి.కృష్ణవేణి, రావు బాలసరస్వతి దేవి, చిలకలపూడి సీతారామాంజనేయులు , సుందరమ్మ ప్రధాన తారాగణంతో రూపొందిన చిత్రం.ప్రభల సత్యనారాయణ ఈ చిత్రానికి సంగీతం సమకూర్చారు. చిత్తజల్లు పుల్లయ్య దర్శకత్వంలో 1936లో ఈస్ట్‌ ఇండియా ఫిలిం కంపెనీ పతాకంపై తెలుగులో ధ్రువ విజయము, సతీ అనసూయ అనే రెండు సినిమాలు కలిసి రూపొందించి జతగా మే 8, 1936న విడుదల చేశారు. పెద్ద నటీనట వర్గంతో 'ధ్రువ విజయము', పిల్లలతో 'సతీ అనసూయ' నిర్మించారు. అప్పట్లో ఒకే టిక్కెట్‌పై రెండు సినిమాలు కలిసి చూపించే పద్ధతికి శ్రీకారం చుట్టారు. టిక్కెట్టు వెల రెండు అణాలు ('బేడ'). కృష్ణవేణి బాలనటిగా ఈ చిత్రం ద్వారా పరిచయమైంది. సి.పుల్లయ్య ఆ రోజుల్లో చిన్న పిల్లలతో పౌరాణికం తీయడం ఒక సాహసం, ఒక ప్రయోగం ఇందులో విజయం సాధించడం ఒక అద్భుతమైన అనుభూతి. చదువుకునే 60 మంది పిల్లలతో నటింపచేస్తూ ఈ చిత్రం నిర్మించారు. అనసూయగా కృష్ణవేణి, అత్రిగా ప్రకాశరావు, నారదుడుగా సూర్యనారాయణ, గంగగా బాల సరస్వతి, ఇంద్రుడుగా సి.ఎస్‌.రావు సుమతిగా సుందరమ్మ, కౌశికుడుగా నారాయణరావు నటించారు. ఈ సినిమాకు రేలంగి వెంకట్రామయ్య ప్రొడక్షన్‌ మేనేజర్‌గా వ్యవహరించారు. కళ అడవి బాపిరాజు, సంగీతం : ప్రభల సత్యన్నారాయణ. 'జో అచ్యుతానంద జో జో ముకుంద' అనే అన్నమాచార్య కీర్తన ఈ చిత్రంలో ప్రప్రథమంగా వినిపించారు. మాటలు, పాటలు రికార్డుల రూపంలో రావడం ఈ చిత్రంతోనే ప్రారంభం అయింది. రికార్డులు సన్‌ రికార్డింగ్‌ కంపెనీవారు విడుదల చేశారు.
