How it feels
This is a Finnish comedy from 1938 based on a stage play from 1922. It follows island dwellers off the coast of Hamina and Kotka through everyday antics and small-town humor. The film was shot on location but struggled at the box office, and its last surviving print was lost in a fire in 1959.

Ulkosaarelaiset on vuonna 1938 valmistunut suomalainen elokuva, jonka ohjasi Kalle Kaarna. Elokuva perustuu Larin-Kyöstin samannimiseen huvinäytelmään vuodelta 1922. Elokuvan ulkokuvaukset tehtiin kesällä 1938 Tammion ja Haapasaaren saarissa Haminan ja Kotkan edustalla. Elokuvan ensi-ilta oli 27. marraskuuta 1938 Helsingissä, Hämeenlinnassa ja Kotkassa. Sen yleisömenestys oli heikko. Elokuvan viimeinen kopio tuhoutui Adams Filmin tulipalossa 1959. (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
