What happens
Viimeinen vieras (ruots. En oväntad gäst) on Arvi Tuomen ja Ville Salmisen ohjaama jännityselokuva vuodelta 1941. Se oli Salmisen ensimmäinen ja Tuomen ainoaksi jäänyt ohjaustyö. Elokuvaa markkinoitiin ensimmäisenä suomalaisena salapoliisifilminä, mutta laadullisesti sitä on pidetty ”teatraalisena jahkailuna”, jonka syynä olivat Salmisen ja henkilöohjauksesta vastanneen Tuomen huonot välit. Elokuvan katsojamäärät jäivät myös suhteellisen vähäisiksi. Käsikirjoitus pohjautui suomenkielisen dekkari- ja tieteiskirjallisuuden uranuurtajan, muun muassa nimellä H. R. Halli kirjoittaneen Rikhard Ruthin romaaniin Yhä murhat jatkuivat (1939), joka kuvaa kieltolain aikaan tapahtuvan salakapakanpitäjän murhan tutkintaa.
