What happens
Rantasuon raatajat on Orvo Saarikiven ohjaama elokuva vuodelta 1942. Elokuva perustuu Urho Karhumäen vuonna 1923 ilmestyneeseen romaaniin Rantasuon sankarit, josta ilmestyi uusittu laitos vuonna 1943 elokuvan ensi-illan jälkeen nimellä Rantasuon raivaajat. Romaani murrosvuosilta. 1860-luvulle Hämeeseen sijoittuvan elokuvan päähenkilön rooliin Rantasuon nuoreksi isännäksi Taavetiksi valittiin yli-ikäinen Eino Kaipainen. Taavetti onnistuu viemään kilpakosijan nenän edestä suuren tilan tyttärestä Maijasta itselleen morsiamen (Ansa Ikonen). Avioliitto ei kuitenkaan ole auvoisaa, vaan sitä koettelevat niin luonnonvoimat kuin ihmisetkin.
