How it feels

Suomisen Ollin tempaus on Orvo Saarikiven ohjaama mustavalkoinen suomalainen elokuva vuodelta 1942 ja toinen kuudesta Suomisen perhe -elokuvasta. Suomisen Ollin tempaus kertoo kahden helsinkiläisen perheen elämästä muutamana toukokuun lopun päivänä talvisodan päätyttyä, välirauhan ja säännöstelyn aikaan 1941. Sen teema on yhteiskuntaluokkien kohtaaminen. Suomisen Ollin tempaus tuo valkokankaille virkamies-Suomisten rinnalle työläis-Suomiset. Maanviljelijäväestöä edustaa Mattilan väki Hämeestä. Sosiaaliryhmänä Suomisen virkamiesperhe edusti aikanaan vain noin kolmea prosenttia Suomen väestöstä. Sekä porvarisperhe, työläisperhe että maalaisperhe tulevat elokuvassa mallikelpoisesti toimeen keskenään. Elokuvan ohjaajan vaihduttua Toivo Särkästä Orvo Saarikiveen varatuomari Suominen ei enää seikkaillut liike-elämässä, vaan oli nyt hieman syrjemmälle siirretty lempeän huolehtiva, mutta tarvittaessa johtajuutta osoittava perheen pää.
