The catalogue in 3D

The film shelves have a room of their own that you can walk around in. The cat behind the counter is the AI Catbot, and they pick real films from the same catalogue when you tell them what you feel like watching. Nothing is for sale, here or in there. Go in from here and this film is already out on the counter, with more like it waiting on the shelf next to it.

How it feels

A timid factory manager tries a hormone drug that makes him regress to a childlike state. The film follows the comic chaos this causes in his life and work.

What happens

Hormoonit valloillaan on vuonna 1948 valmistunut Orvo Saarikiven ohjaama suomalainen elokuva, joka perustuu Armas J. Pullan romaaniin. Siinä nahjusmainen tehtaanjohtaja kokeilee puosuliini-nimistä hormonilääkettä, minkä seurauksena hän alentuu lapsen tasolle. Pääosissa nähdään Hilkka Helinä ja Joel Rinne. Elokuvan tuotti Suomi-Filmi. Elokuva muistuttaa aiheeltaan Howard Hawksin elokuvaa Rakas, minä nuorrun, joka valmistui kuitenkin vasta 1952. Ohjaaja Saarikivi on myöhemmin todennut, että elokuva olisi saanut jäädä tekemättä. (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
