Politikens filmjournal 211 er en dansk ugerevy fra 1953. 1) Vesttyskland: Valgscener. Unge kommunister, der illegalt er gået over grænsen for at sprede østtysk propaganda, arresteres. Efter et måltid mad bliver de eskorteret tilbage til østzonen. Forbundskansler Konrad Adenauer, forbundspræsident Theodor Heuss og socialdemokratiets leder Erich Ollenhauer afgiver deres stemmer. 2) Italien: Professor Auguste Picards dykkerklokke til dybhavsforskning søsættes i Neapal. 3) USA: Den amerikanske legions årlige parade i St. Louis. 50.000 legionærer deltager i optoget, der er præget af humoristisk opfindsomhed. 4) USA: Præsident Dwight D. Eisenhower på ferie i Colorados bjerge. Hans store hobby er lystfiskeri. 5) USA: Lakselystfiskeri i Washington State. Dagens største indfanget laks vejer 49 pund. 6) Dansk dreng med krokodille som husdyr. Krokodillen, der hedder Olsen, bliver passet og plejet og sover sammen med sin ejer. 7) Europamester i letvægt Jørgen Johansen forsvarer sin titel mod tyskeren W. Hanke. Kampen ender uafgjort.
