1961-പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ മലയാള ചലച്ചിത്രമാണ് ശബരിമല അയ്യപ്പൻ. ഇതു മലയാളത്തിലെ രണ്ടാമത്തെ മുഴുനീള വർണ ചിത്രമാണ്. കെ. കുപ്പുസ്വാമി കോയമ്പത്തൂർ പക്ഷിരാജാ സ്റ്റുഡിയോയിൽ ശാസ്താഫിലിംസിന്റെ ബാനറിലാണ് ചിത്രം നിർമിച്ചത്. അഭയദേവ് ഈ ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ ഗാനങ്ങളും തിക്കുറിശ്ശി സംഭാഷണവും രചിച്ചു. ശ്രീരാമുലു നായിഡു സംവിധാനവും ശൈലൻ ബോസ് ഛായാഗ്രഹണവും നിർവഹിച്ചു. എസ്.എം. സുബ്ബയ്യാനായിഡു ഈണമിട്ട 12 ഗാനങ്ങളുണ്ടീ ചിത്രത്തിൽ. ഈ ചിത്രത്തിന് നിറം ചാർത്തിയത് ബോംബെ ഫിലിം സെന്ററിലായിരുന്നു.
