Le Rêve dans le pavillon rouge (chinois simplifié : 红楼梦 ; pinyin : Hónglóumèng) est un film dramatique chinois réalisé par Cen Fan et sorti en 1962. Il s'agit de l'adaptation de l'opéra Yue Le Rêve dans le pavillon rouge écrite par Xu Jin. En raison des contraintes de production de l'époque, des arias tels que Lin Daiyu ont été omis. Le film est interdit immédiatement après son achèvement, mais sa projection reprend en 1978. Il est ensuite devenu un véritable succès en salles, avec des arias tels que Un Lin Daiyu tomba du ciel (天上掉下个林妹妹) qui sont devenus célèbres dans toute la Chine. Entre 1978 et 1988, le film attire 1,2 milliard de spectateurs dans tout le pays, ce qui en fait le film le plus souvent projeté, le plus largement distribué et le plus regardé de l'histoire du cinéma chinois.
