What happens

Pikku suorasuu on Edvin Laineen ohjaama suomalainen elokuva vuodelta 1962. Se perustuu Anni Swanin nuortenromaaniin Iris rukka (1916). Käsikirjoituksen laati Swanin romaanin pohjalta varsin vapaasti Toivo Kauppinen, mutta sitä on muokannut vielä Paula Talaskivi. Pääosan esittäjä ei tahtonut löytyä, mutta lopulta siihen valittiin Kansallisteatterissa Laineen ohjauksessa Ihmeidentekijässä näytellyt suomalais-intialainen Nora Haque. Rooli on Haquen ainoa elokuvarooli. Elokuvan avustajina olivat samat lapset kuin Kansallisteatterin Ihmeidentekijä-näytelmässä. Elokuva oli lavastuksesta 1963 postuumisti palkitun Karl Fagerin viimeinen elokuvatyö. Hän kuoli seuraavana vuonna. (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
