Saastepassio on Matti Lehden 1970 ohjaama mustavalkoinen tv-essee luonnon ja ihmisen kärsimyksestä saasteiden, säteilyn ja melun vallassa. Ohjelma yhdistelee dokumenttia ja fiktiota kollaasimaisesti, vaihdellen vakavasta koomiseen. Passio, kärsimysnäytelmä, maalaa synkän kuvan lähitulevaisuudesta. Dokumentin käsikirjoittaja Keijo Voudinmäki kertoi jälkikäteen saaneensa innoituksen Saastepassioon Rachel Carsonin kirjasta Äänetön kevät. Saastepassio sai vastaansa kovan kritiikin avantgardistisen ilmaisutapansa vuoksi. Ohjelman tekoaikaan oli luonnonsuojeluvuosi.
