Die deutschsprachige Erstausstrahlung folgte 1975 im Deutschen Fernsehen. Der US-amerikanische Schauspieler Jack Cassidy verkörpert als Doppelmörder Ken Franklin den Gegenspieler von Inspektor Columbo, dargestellt von Peter Falk.
