Die deutschsprachige Erstausstrahlung der zweiten Folge der ersten Staffel folgte 1975 im Deutschen Fernsehen. Der US-amerikanische Schauspieler Robert Culp verkörpert als elitärer Privatdetektiv Carl Brimmer den Gegenspieler von Inspektor Columbo, dargestellt von Peter Falk.
