Motforestilling er en norsk film fra 1972, regissert av Erik Løchen. Filmen var et forsøk på ikke-linjær historiefortelling og fikk blandede kritikker da den kom. Programheftet fremhever som plott for filmen «Den alminnelige mann, hvilken rolle spiller han i politikken?» Filmen forteller om en filminnspilling hvor ingen ferdig handlingsutvikling foreligger, og man bare jobber ut fra stikkord til scener som er fantasi i dag, men kan være virkelighet i morgen.
