Set during the 1994 Rwandan genocide, a Tutsi woman hides from militias with the help of an elderly Hutu woman who is a traditional healer. The film shows the danger they face and the decisions they make to survive.

What happens
Bazigaga is a 2022 short French historical genocide film written and directed by Jo Ingabire Moys. Co-produced by Verbinski with Graham King and John B. Carls, the film stars Eliane Umuhire.
