Die deutschsprachige Erstausstrahlung der ersten Folge der vierten Staffel folgte erst 1992 auf RTL plus. Der US-amerikanische Schauspieler Robert Conrad verkörpert als Milo Janus, geschäftstüchtiger Besitzer einer Fitnesskette, den Gegenspieler von Inspektor Columbo, dargestellt von Peter Falk.
