Die deutschsprachige Erstausstrahlung der sechsten Folge der vierten Staffel folgte 1976 im Deutschen Fernsehen. Der US-amerikanische Schauspieler George Hamilton verkörpert als Psychiater und Doppelmörder Dr. Marcus Collier den Gegenspieler von Inspektor Columbo, dargestellt von Peter Falk.
