How it feels
This is a 1975 Soviet melodrama about four dairy-farming sisters living in a village. The eldest sister gave up her own love to raise the others and they still call her nanny. One sister's husband travels for work and wants her to join him but she loves their village. Another sister keeps having daughters while her husband wants a son. The youngest has been withdrawn since her military husband died and resists a new suitor. Their story follows their different struggles with love and family duty.

What happens
«Мои дорогие» () — мелодрама 1975 года о жизни в деревне. Фильм рассказывает о судьбе четырёх сестёр-доярок Петровых, проживающих в одной из советских деревень в середине 1970-х годов. Тут и старшая Антонида, которой пришлось после смерти матери расстаться с любимым человеком и воспитывать трёх младших сестёр и которую они поэтому до сих пор ласково называют няней. Тут и Шура, чей муж постоянно по работе разъезжает по стране и зовёт её каждый раз с собой, но она не хочет покидать любимую деревню и уговаривает супруга остаться с ней. Тут и Лида, которая, по-видимому, из-за породы Петровых постоянно рожает мужу только дочерей, тогда как он страстно желает парня. Тут и младшая Маша, которая полностью замкнулась после смерти своего мужа-военного два года назад и поэтому постоянно даёт отпор ухаживающему за ней Володе.
