How it feels
In Tel Aviv in 1950 a group of teenagers fight for control of their neighborhood. They make homemade weapons from wood and rubber bands that can cause serious injury. The story shows how the kids see their conflict as noble like the adult wars around them, while their parents struggle with everyday hardship and the aftermath of the Holocaust.

רובה חוליות הוא סרט קולנוע ישראלי משנת 1979, שנכתב ובוים על ידי אילן מושנזון. העלילה מתרחשת באייר תש"י (מאי 1950) בתל אביב, ועיקרה מאבק אלים בין שתי קבוצות נערים, הלומדים באותה כיתה, כשברקע ההורים קשי היום, שחלקם הם ניצולי השואה. הנערים בטוחים שהמלחמה ביניהם על שליטה היא צודקת כמו מלחמתם של המבוגרים. קבוצה אחת מצטיידת בכלי נשק מסוכן, שהם מייצרים בעצמם - רובה חוליות. זה היה קרש עץ ששויף לצורת רובה, ולחלקו הקדמי חברו גומייה עבה התפוסה בהדק. בתור קליע השתמשו בחוליות מתכת ששמשו לתמיכת המזרנים של מיטות סוכנות. קליע כזה היה מסוגל לפצוע קשה או לעקור עין. הסרט הוקרן בפסטיבל ברלין 1979 (מסגרת סרטי ילדים ונוער) ובפסטיבל לוקרנו 1979, שווייץ. התסריט זכה בפרס על שם שייקה אופיר.
