Shang shi er en kinesisk dramafilm fra 1981 regissert av Shui Hua. En tragisk kjærlighetshistorie mellom en mann og kvinne i 1920-årnes Peking. Forholdet startet bra, men forskjeller dem imellom fører etterhvert til at det blir brudd. Kvinnen drar tilbake til sine autoritære foreldre med et knust hjerte og dør like etter. Mannen angrer bittert, men må forsøke å begynne et nytt liv. Hovedrollene spilles av Wang Xingang og Lin Ying. Historien er basert på en roman av Lu Xun.
