Das Buschgespenst ist ein zweiteiliger Film des Fernsehens der DDR von der Regisseurin Vera Loebner, gedreht im Jahr 1986 im Erzgebirge und produziert von der DEFA. Die Mischung zwischen Drama, Kriminal- und Heimatfilm basiert in wesentlichen Teilen auf Die Sklaven der Arbeit, der zweiten Abteilung des Romans Der verlorene Sohn von Karl May. Der Titel wurde von der bearbeiteten Fassung Das Buschgespenst (Band 64 der Gesammelten Werke) übernommen. Es war die erste Verfilmung eines May-Romans in der DDR. (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
