รักแท้บทที่ 1 เป็นภาพยนตร์ไทยแนวโรแมนติก-ดราม่า ผลงานการกำกับของ สุเทพ ตันนิรัตน์ สร้างโดย บริษัท ไท เอ็นเตอร์เทนเมนต์ จำกัด ออกฉายเมื่อวันที่ 26 สิงหาคม พ.ศ. 2538 เป็นผลงานการแสดงภาพยนตร์เรื่องแรกและเรื่องสุดท้ายของ บุญพิทักษ์ จิตต์กระจ่าง ก่อนเสียชีวิต ประกบคู่กับ ศักดิ์สิทธิ์ แท่งทอง รักแท้บทที่ 1 เป็นเรื่องราวของ ระบิล ชายผู้หนึ่งซึ่งหวาดกลัวความรักและกำลังศึกษาเรื่องความรักจากหนังสือ รวมทั้งจากเพื่อนรอบข้าง โดยมี ทิพย์ หญิงสาวผู้เคยผิดหวังในรักและเป็นรักแรกของ ระบิล เพื่อให้ระบิลทดสอบบทเรียนรักแท้ของเค้า และส่วนหนึ่งของเนื้อเรื่องได้มีการกล่าวถึง นิยายเรื่องดัง สงครามชีวิต ของ ศรีบูรพา (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
