It stars Mohanlal, Meena and Nassar with Jagathy Sreekumar and Seema in supporting roles. The film was produced by Mohanlal through his company Pranavam Arts. The music was composed by Ouseppachan. The plot follows an investigation by Chakkummoottil Varghese Antony IPS (Mohanlal) of a planned terrorist attack in India. Olympian Anthony Adam was released on 15 October 1999.
