מצב משפחתי הייתה סדרה בת 15 פרקים של הטלוויזיה הלימודית. הסדרה הופקה בשנת 1977 ושודרה במקור אחת לשבועיים בין אוקטובר 1977 למאי 1978 ועסקה במגוון סיטואציות מחיי המשפחה ועשתה שימוש נרחב בטכניקת שבירת הקיר הרביעי. בחלק מהפרקים נערך דיון באולפן על נושא הפרק. את המימון להפקת התוכנית סיפק משרד החינוך וקרן הצדקה של משפחת ברונפמן. בעקבות השידורים נערכו ברחבי המדינה מאות חוגי הורים (קבוצות דיון של הורים ומנחה) שדנו בתכני התוכניות.
