How it feels
This is an Israeli TV series from the 1970s made to teach English to fifth graders. The show follows families living in two different places a small town center and a suburb or village. Songs are used throughout each episode to help teach the English language.

Neighbours היא סדרת טלוויזיה ללימוד השפה האנגלית, שהופקה בטלוויזיה החינוכית באמצע שנות ה-70 וצולמה בשחור-לבן. מפיקת הסדרה הייתה אסטל פרידמן והבמאים היו אירווינג קפלן, מייקל גרינשפן ומקסין אליעז. הסדרה הייתה מיועדת לשנה הראשונה של לימוד השפה האנגלית (כיתות ה'). לסדרה הופקו תשעה פרקים והתלוו אליה ספר עבודה ומדריך למורה. הסדרה הוקרנה לראשונה ב-1976. כמו סדרות אחרות מאותה תקופה, הסדרה שודרה פעמים רבות בשידורים חוזרים והפכה לנכס צאן ברזל בתרבות הישראלית, בעיקר בזכות השירים שכתבה והלחינה עבורה ברברה גרוס. עלילת המסגרת של הסדרה עקבה אחר משפחות המתגוררות בשני אזורים שונים: מחד, מרכז עיר קטנה, ומאידך, פרבר או כפר. במהלך התוכנית שולבו שירים שמטרתם הקניית השפה האנגלית.
