《춘향전》은 KBS 1TV에서 1988년 9월 24일에 방영된 서울올림픽 기념 특집 드라마이다. 한국의 고전 소설을 영상화한 한국고전 시리즈 중 첫 번째 작품이다. 한편, 손창민 (이몽룡 역)은 해당 작품 이후 한동안 사극 출연이 뜸해졌다가 2005년 MBC 세 번째 주말 특별기획 드라마 《신돈》을 통해 사극 복귀를 했는데 대형사극으로 치자면 《신돈》이 첫 출연작이었다. (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
