È il primo corto della serie a fare uso del processo stereottico per la realizzazione di sfondi tridimensionali, impiegato per la prima volta l'anno prima nel corto di Betty Boop Cenerentola; è inoltre il primo in cui il personaggio di Bluto è doppiato da Gus Wicke in sostituzione di William Pennell.
