How it feels
This is a Finnish children's show from the late 1960s to early 1970s. Each episode includes singing, playing games, and doing crafts with a host called 'Auntie'.

What happens
Tenavatuokio oli vuosina 1968–1974 Yle TV2:lla esitetty lastenohjelma, joka perustui brittiläisen Talbot TV:n formaattiin Romper Room. Makasiiniohjelman rekvisiitta ja käsikirjoitus tulivat Englannista. Käsikirjoitus muokattiin Suomen oloihin sopivammaksi. Romper Room oli alun perin yhdysvaltalainen formaatti, jota alettiin esittää 1950-luvulla. Tenavatuokiota lähetettiin keväällä ja syksyllä kolmasti viikossa ja kesällä kerran viikossa. Ohjelman ensimmäisestä juontajasta "Arja-tädistä" (oik. Arja Virtanen) tuli suosittu myös isien keskuudessa. Tenavatuokiossa leikittiin, laulettiin ja askarreltiin. Keväällä 1973 juontajaksi vaihtui Maija Salo, ja viimeisellä tuotantokaudella, keväällä 1974 tehtävää hoiti Sinikka Haataja. Syksyllä 1974 Yle luopui englantilaisesta formaatista ja Tenavatuokion korvasivat omatuotanteiset lastenohjelmat Minimaa, Kuperkeikka ja Nyt kerrotaan. (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
