What happens
איתי שמח הייתה תוכנית טלוויזיה רצף לילדים ונוער בהנחיית איתי שגב, ששודרה בשנת 1996 בערוץ הילדים. תוכנית זו נוצרה על מנת להתחרות בתוכניתה של מיכל ינאי, "הקרנבל של מיכל", ששודרה בערוץ 2. שיר הפתיחה של התוכנית בוצע בהשראת השיר "מוכרחים להיות שמח". בתוכנית זו איתי שגב מנחה רצועת שידורים לילדים בשבת בבוקר. בתוכנית היו מערכונים קצרצרים לילדים, בין היתר עם דמויות שהופיעו במקור בתוכנית "הקומדי סטור", ביניהם דמותה של "הפולנייה", והכלב לוטו, אחיו של טוטו מהמחזמר "הקוסם!". ביחד עם איתי הופיעה בתוכנית בובה בשם חבר שלי (אשר הופעלה ודובבה בידי מיכאל וייגל). בסוף כל פרק איתי שגב שר ביחד עם חבורת ילדים שיר ילדים מפורסם בסגנון חדש.
