Storytime is a British preschool education television series that broadcast aired on BBC Schools programming block of BBC Two from September 23, 1987 to December 1, 1997. It was produced shown on Ragdoll Productions. Storytime was designed to help young children develop early literacy skills. Throughout its run, the show featured simple stories, songs, and picture books that made reading appealing and accessible to preschoolers. Episodes were short (about 15 minutes) and were broadcast in the BBC Schools block on BBC Two.
