What happens
Pisa was een Nederlands satirisch VARA-televisieprogramma dat van 18 januari 1982 tot 25 december 1985 te zien was en er werden in totaal 90 afleveringen uitgezonden. Nadat de makers waren overgestapt naar Veronica heette het programma van 22 februari 1986 tot 7 juni 1989 Verona waarvan in totaal 47 afleveringen werden uitgezonden. Alhoewel het programma gemaakt werd door sportjournalisten Henk Spaan en Harry Vermeegen, ging het niet over sport, maar over "alles wat scheef is in Nederland" (de titel verwees naar de scheve toren van Pisa). Het programma introduceerde een aantal populaire catchphrases in Nederland, zoals "Kopje koffie, glazenwasser?" en "Koud, hè?". Ook brachten ze enkele singles uit, die grotendeels werden gecomponeerd door Gerard Stellaard. Hun pausparodie Popie Jopie (1985) werd hun grootste hit. (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
