The catalogue in 3D

The film shelves have a room of their own that you can walk around in. The cat behind the counter is the AI Catbot, and they pick real films from the same catalogue when you tell them what you feel like watching. Nothing is for sale, here or in there. Go in from here and this film is already out on the counter, with more like it waiting on the shelf next to it.

What happens

Something in the Blood is a 1994 Finnish documentary film directed by Arto Halonen. The film tells a story of a Russian journalist, Vyacheslav Oparin, who believes that he has a connection to Yetis. The film was shot during winter and summer of 1993 in Russia's Republic of Karelia and in the area of Paanajärvi National Park. Something in the Blood was part of Yleisradio’s TV2 channel's Dokumenttiprojekti program. The film was selected for the Tampere Film Festival and was also screened at the Pärnu International Anthropological Film Festival and the Thessaloniki International Documentary Film Festival. In the documentary, Halonen remains impartial and does not take a stand on the truthfulness of Oparin's claims. Halonen told the Tampere Film Festival's magazine: "The topic presented itself to me as a symbol of many things. Whether the man is crazy or a fraud, or whether the whole story is true, is not essential." (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
