Halveksittu (ruots. Den föraktade) on Jorma Nortimon ohjaama romanttinen draamaelokuva vuodelta 1939. Se pohjautuu Lauri Haarlan romaaniin Halveksittu mies (1930). Elokuva poikkesi aikansa linjasta, sillä siinä Suomea ei esitetty sinivalkeana lintukotona vaan luokkaristiriitojen ja sosiaalisen eriarvoisuuden leimaamana yhteiskuntana. Se herätti aikanaan pahennusta varsinkin suomenruotsalaisissa, jotka elokuvassa esitetään sangen vastenmielisinä tyyppeinä. Tarina kertoo kulkukauppiaasta (Eino Kaipainen), joka monien vaikeuksien kautta nousee menestyväksi liikemieheksi. Hänen yläluokkaista rakastettuaan esittää vuoden 1934 Miss Suomi Ester Toivonen.
