Silmät hämärässä on Veikko Itkosen ohjaama elokuva vuodelta 1952. Elokuvan käsikirjoittaja on Juha Nevalainen, jonka pitkän skenaristiuran tämä elokuva yhdessä Edvin Laineen samoihin aikoihin valmistuneen Yhden yön hinnan (1952) kanssa aloitti. Käsikirjoituksen nimi oli Totuuden varkaat. Elokuva oli ensimmäinen näytelmäelokuva, jossa on näkymiä kesällä 1950 avatusta Linnanmäen huvipuistosta. Studiojaksot kuvattiin Teuvo Tulion studiossa ja hänen kalustollaan. Elokuvan yleisömenestys jäi vuoden keskitason alle. Alun taustamusiikkiin on sovitettu Anton Karasin sävellys "The Harry Lime Theme" Carol Reedin elokuvasta Kolmas mies (1949). (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
