עבודה הוא הוא סרט קולנוע תיעודי מ-1935. הסרט צולם ובוים על ידי הלמר לרסקי בארץ ישראל המנדטורית. הסרט מתאר את הגעתו של היהודי הגלותי אל ארץ אבותיו ולידתו של היהודי החדש בארץ ישראל. בסרט מוצג דימוי הרואי של החלוץ הארץ ישראלי על ידי וויזואליציה של עבודה פיזית. התמה המרכזית של הסרט היא חיפוש אחר מים בארץ חרבה. בסרט ניקרות השפעות של קולנוע אוונגארד, ובעיקר של קולנוע המונטאז' הסובייטי על לרסקי. "עבודה" נתפס לעיתים כסרט תעמולה ציוני, על אף שנוצר ללא התערבות ממסדית ומומן בכספים פרטיים. המוזיקה המקורית של הסרט נכתבה על ידי המלחין פאול דסאו. בשנת 2009 הוצג הסרט, במסגרת פסטיבל טרוולינג בעיר רן שבצרפת, בליווי חי בנגינה של מוזיקאי הג'אז יונתן אבישי. שנה מאוחר יותר, ב-2010, הוצג הסרט במתכונת דומה גם בסינמטק תל אביב ובסינמטק ירושלים.
