מעל החורבות הוא סרט קולנוע שהופק כולו בארץ ישראל בשנים 1936–1938 על ידי חברת "סרטי כרמל" בהנהלת נתן אקסלרוד. הצגת הבכורה של הסרט נערכה בקולנוע "מגדלור" ב-9 ביולי 1938 בהשתתפות ראש העיר, ישראל רוקח והמשורר שאול טשרניחובסקי. בהמשך נערכה גם מסיבת עיתונאים. הסרט שוחזר בעריכה מחודשת ועיבוד ממוחשב על ידי יעקב גרוס לפסטיבל הקולנוע בירושלים ב-2003.
