החלוץ הוא סרט ראינוע אבוד שצולם במצלמת 35 מ"מ Full Frame בשחור-לבן. הסרט צולם בארץ ישראל בשנת 1927 על ידי חברת "מולדת". זה היה ניסיון ראשון להפקת סרט באורך מלא, אחרי שורה של הצעות, רעיונות והפקות קצרות של דוקודרמות וסרטי פרסומת על ידי "הקינו סטודיו מולדת". הבמאי, התסריטאי והשחקן הראשי היה אלכסנדר פן.
